Data Deletion Request

At BrandcastHQ, we respect your right to control your personal and business data. This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your account data, what is deleted, and what may be retained for legal compliance.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your data, send an email to our privacy team at:

- The email address associated with your BrandcastHQ account
- Your business name (to confirm identity)
- Whether you want partial or full account deletion
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days of receiving a valid request. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
Upon a successful deletion request, we will permanently remove the following:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All customer and contact data associated with your account
- AI agent configurations and behavior settings
- Call recordings and transcripts from the AI Phone agent
- Content history, review response drafts, and social posts
- Business profile data, POS transaction data, and analytics history
- Any uploaded images, logos, or brand assets
What May Be Retained
Some data must be retained by BrandcastHQ to comply with applicable laws and regulations:
- Billing records — invoices, payment receipts, and subscription history are retained for 7 years as required by U.S. tax and financial regulations. This data is stored securely and is not used for any marketing or operational purpose.
- Legal hold records — if your account is subject to an active legal investigation or court order, certain data may be retained until the matter is resolved.
- Fraud or abuse records — if your account was flagged for abuse, we may retain limited records to prevent future abuse in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Automatic Deletion (Account Cancellation)
If you cancel your BrandcastHQ subscription without submitting a formal deletion request, your data will be automatically deleted 90 days after your account is closed. This retention window exists to allow for account recovery in the event of an accidental cancellation.
If you need data deleted sooner than the 90-day automatic window, please submit a formal deletion request using the instructions above.
Third-Party Integrations
Deletion of your BrandcastHQ account removes your data from our systems. However, if you connected third-party services (e.g., Google Business Profile, QuickBooks, Yelp), you may need to revoke BrandcastHQ's access separately through those platforms. BrandcastHQ cannot delete data that resides on third-party servers.
